Finish the year in style! 7:30, Thursday evening, Dingwall Town Hall.
Today we have 6 fencers fighting in the Highland Open in Elgin, our biggest entry in some time. Some are old hands, while for some this will be their first competition.
So, #RossShireRoar for #StagKnights Hannah, Andrew, Lachlan, Fergus, Peter and (reigning champ) Tom.
At tonight’s AGM the executive of the committee were re-elected unopposed. They are:
David Ferguson – Chair
Cindy Poole-Reeves – Secretary
Ian Michael – Treasurer
In addition, several of the youth wing were co-opted to the committee for future development.
Tom Hoffmann remains part of the committee in his role as club coach.
We we will be taking a very short break for the last week of the holidays prior to officially restarting for the new season on 23 August.
We’ve had another good year and are looking forward to the season ahead. We’d love to have you with us. So if you’ve been away for a while, this is a great opportunity for you to come back. If you’ve ever thought about giving fencing a try or are just looking for a new challenge you would also be warmly welcomed.
Half past 7, Thursday evenings, Dingwall Town Hall. Come and have a go.
We are absolutely delighted to hear that our coach and stalwart #StagKnight Tom Hoffmann has been selected to represent Scotland in the men’s épée at the 2018 Commonwealth Fencing Championships. The championships take place in November this year in Canberra, Australia. It’s the second time Tom has been selected and in 2014 he was part of the Scottish team who won bronze at Largs.
The club are over the moon that Tom’s hard work has paid off again and look forward to seeing his results!
Brace yourselves, Australia. Stag Kinght incoming!
