Australia Beckons for Dingwall Fencer -Press Release
Dingwall fencer, Tom Hoffmann has been called up to represent Scotland in the Commonwealth Fencing Championships in Canberra, Australia at the end of this year. This is the second time Tom has been selected to fence for his country in this competition having previously been part of the medal winning men’s’ epee team at Largs in 2014 when he was only 18.

Club AGM
The club’s AGM will take place on Thursday 13 September at 19:30 upstairs in Dingwall Town Hall.
Season 2018/19
We we will be taking a very short break for the last week of the holidays prior to officially restarting for the new season on 23 August.
We’ve had another good year and are looking forward to the season ahead. We’d love to have you with us. So if you’ve been away for a while, this is a great opportunity for you to come back. If you’ve ever thought about giving fencing a try or are just looking for a new challenge you would also be warmly welcomed.

Commonwealth Selection for Dingwall Fencer. Again.
We are absolutely delighted to hear that our coach and stalwart #StagKnight Tom Hoffmann has been selected to represent Scotland in the men’s épée at the 2018 Commonwealth Fencing Championships. The championships take place in November this year in Canberra, Australia. It’s the second time Tom has been selected and in 2014 he was part of the Scottish team who won bronze at Largs.
The club are over the moon that Tom’s hard work has paid off again and look forward to seeing his results!

Goodbye 2017… get ready for 2018
So that’s us at the end of another year, fencing wise. The club will be taking a short break over the festive period, but we will be back in the New Year. Training will start up again on Thursday 11 January, 2018 at 19:30 in Dingwall Town Hall.

At our recent AGM, the current executive were returned unopposed for another year and a new welfare officer was coopted on to the committee.
