New Logo for Dingwall Fencing Club

Dingwall Fencing Club logo

Dingwall Fencing Club are pleased to unveil our new logo.  Designed by our own David Ferguson.

The logo isDingwall Fencing Club logo inspired by the Cabar Feidh (Stags Antlers) which can be seen in a variety of places around the region.  As well as being the badge of the chiefs of the MacKenzie Family and of the legendary Seaforth Highlanders, the classic Caber Feidh can also be found in the badges of a number of local sporting clubs including Ross Sutherland Rugby Club in Invergordon, Caberfeidh Cammanachd shinty club in Strathpeffer and of course the mighty Ross County FC in Dingwall.

Our own stylized version – the Cabar Iarainn – started off life as a pencil sketch on a post-it note before eventually being recreated and finished off freehand in the open source image editing package GIMP.

We will soon be completing the rebranding of our online presence and will hopefully soon be working on producing club T-shirts and other merchandise.  Watch this space.

The design remains the intellectual property and copyright of David Ferguson, who has granted usage to the club.
